We have a full time and part-time position open for Reservation Specialist with an outgoing personality to work in our registration office/store handling multiple tasks.
Must be able to work weekends especially between May-September.
Office hours are 8 to 5 however may be a little later Friday - Sunday.
We are looking for the right person(s) to be part of our team.
Beautiful resort located on the Delta--just minutes from Oakley & Brentwood.
Starting pay $20/hour, $300 Bonus after successful 90 day probationary period.
No absences or tardiness.
Duties Take reservations over the phone and at the counter for RV & marina sites, boat rentals and storage.
Check in and out guests using reservation software.
Answer phones with excellent phone etiquette--use headset.
Using point of sale system, sell store items and balance cash drawer.
E-mail correspondence using Outlook and marketing e-mails.
Filing and other general office work.
Customer file organization.
Daily site checks.
Enter inventory in computer, some inventory ordering and vendor communications.
Communicate on 2 way radio with maintenance staff.
Office supply management.
Light office cleaning.
Other duties as assigned.
Requirements Must be friendly, outgoing, organized individual.
Excellent customer service skills.
Possess strong written and verbal communication skills as well as excellent time management abilities.
Strong computer proficiency.
Type accurately at 40wpm with basic MS Word & Excel knowledge.
Previous Point of Sale and front desk reservations experience a plus.
Be able to work in a fast paced environment and multi-task.
Must be a self- starter and work in a small team environment.
Must be able to stand at counter for possible long periods of time.
Must be able to pass a basic background check.
Knowledge of the delta, boating and/or RV'ing is a plus!! Sugar Barge is located in Bethel Island on the Delta.
We are just minutes from Brentwood and Oakley.
The resort has 114 RV sites, full service marina, boat and RV storage facility, boat rentals, and restaurant.
