Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to attorneys and legal teams - Prepare and draft legal documents, including correspondence, pleadings, and contracts - Conduct legal research and gather relevant information for cases - Assist with case management, including organizing files, scheduling hearings, and maintaining calendars - Interview clients and witnesses to gather necessary information for cases - Manage and prioritize multiple projects and deadlines - Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Legal Secretary or similar role - Proficient in legal drafting, research, writing, and case management - Familiarity with legal databases such as Westlaw or LexisNexis - Strong organizational skills and attention to detail - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Proficient in using clerical software (e.
g.
, Microsoft Office Suite) - Experience with document management systems - Knowledge of project management principles is a plus.
